I have the privilege of joining the Zim Outreach on Friday nights in the City Bowl congregation. I am so encouraged by what God is doing during these times!
Last Sunday night (26th September), two of the Zim guys gave their lives to Jesus. On the following Friday night (1st October), three more came to salvation. There have also been several baptisms that have resulted from the teachings given at the Outreach meetings. I praise God that He is changing lives forever and setting eternity in hearts!
Not only am I encouraged by these happenings, but I am also challenged. I see a child-like faith and obedience in our Zim brothers that I often lack.
This faith is also abundantly clear in the personal testimonies we listen to about their lives: where God has brought them from, what He is doing in their hearts at present and what they are trusting God for related to their future in Him.
Watch this space: God is doing a mighty thing!
